Christmas is coming closer day by day and festive bells are ringing all over. Everyone in the household is planning for the days of the festival. Every individual have there different plans and ways of celebrating. The single thing that binds all the members in the family is the family values and traditions. Every family has their separate traditions which they are following from years.

These traditions were established by their ancestor long years back. The Christmas Eve family gatherings are common in several households. All of the members of the family gather in the household and initiate the festive celebration. These are note mare practices; these are traditions which instill family values and respect for the other members and most important thing which it does is that it creates a strong bonding between the members.

If one wants to initiate a tradition in the family and wants to create a close bonding between the members, he or she should be clear in mind what he or she is trying to do. All of the members should be present in the household during the establishment of the tradition.

Children should also be included in the process because they are the one who will take this tradition forward. One should try and make everyone understand the importance of this and every member of the family should be encouraged and feel that their presence is valued and appreciated.

It is not only Christmas when one can initiate or establish a family tradition. It can be started at any occasion during the year. When children in the household will grow up, they will start valuing their tradition and it will become an ongoing thing and thus the person who is initiating the process will be remembered long after his or her life.
