Also, you should send this payment directly to your mortgage servicer or lender. This will keep you from losing your hard earned money.

• Don’t make use of those schemes that ask you to sign over the ownership of your home to another person. This is not required, and is used to trap you. So, don’t sign over your deed when using these foreclosure rescue scheme.

• Don’t shy away from reporting any suspicious activity to the Federal Trade Commission, as it will save you from facing any issue.

The fact of the matter is that there is a variety of foreclosure rescue schemes and many of them work to some extent. But, there are some con artists who want your money and home. Don’t do these three things and you will be able to stay away from these scammers.
